Snow Bunting

 

Today after lunch I went on an hour long quick walk around the fort at an adult pace. This means not stopping to pick up every wooly bear catepillar we see. What is that bird? Is it a salt marsh sparrow?

Is it a Lapland longspur?

It's a snow bunting even though we have no snow.
