Downtown

I got up early this morning and drove downtown.  The air was chilly after the first killing frost last night.  I could have used mittens after standing outside for almost two hours.  The views were spectacular.  The river was clear and calm.  Standing on a bridge to Nicollet Island I could see the clear outline of a large tree underwater from the roots up to it's many branches.

The river flowed gently forming a mirror for the yellow trees.

Offspring #2 ran five kilometers.  No one was even chasing her!
