Favorite Day Of The Year

What a week it has been.  Seems like every minute was filled with responsibility; every task completed with the next step forming in my head.  I had a regular whirlwind of a week culminating in my favorite work day of the year - the annual years of service ceremony.  The ceremony went off without a hitch.  Every moment was fun.  Months of planning and preparation have paid off.  I am so lucky to have a job that I enjoy this much.

I really miss that day! It was fun for me too to be able to play Vanna White for a day! LOL
I'm sure all the participants were in their finest attire and so proud of their accomplishments! I really miss all of them also, and of course you too!
We are having a great time back in Mesa. We arrived on Wed. afternoon around 1p AZ time. We are 2 hours behind MN and that is already a hardship when I think of texting to the kids to say good night. They are probably already sleeping!
We have the yard ornaments to get set out in the yard. Pretty well settled inside. Don already has projects in mind to do this winter. More tool noise! Urgh!
We are going to Eloy, AZ tomorrow to watch sky divers. It's a championship tournament going on until
Nov. 3rd.
Guess who is also here with one of her sons. Lois Kunkel! She called me the other day and we are going to go out for dinner one night next week. She will be here a month or longer. She works at The Oaks with Chris Anderson and I see her when I fill in. We exchanged numbers so it will be fun seeing her and meeting her son. I knew she planned to move him down here. Sounds like he lives near us.
Hope you have a great winter! We plan too :)

Shortest And Steepest

I wanted to ride the funicular in Dubuque. Here is the view from the top. Turns out you need cash, not a credit card. He suggested I park at...
