It's All Zoo is a novel set in Paris in the 1960's. The author is a man from Connecticut named Gerald A. Browne. Lillian is one of the main characters. She lives in a house that includes a bordello. When her boyfriend leaves with most of her clothes and things she cannot sleep. She goes to a dance hall where the other insomniacs drink, dance, and fall in love. That is where she meets an American archeologist named Graham. He tells her he is planning to start an archeological dig in Paris so she helps him out. She writes a newspaper ad asking for volunteers to help dig although they would get lunch. She even finds him a place to stay overnight. Graham falls in love with Lillian but she doesn't realize that she is in love with him early enough. This was a cute story.
