Archery Range

Yesterday my friend explained that I will find the bison if I go park by the archery range of Spring Lake Park. Sure nuff! I found 11 bison. Extraordinary! I think I was lucky to see them so close. When I walked back 90 minutes later I couldn't find them. Dakota County has some nice parks! I found it at 8395 127th Street East. If you check the website it will tell you which paddock they are in. Today they were in paddocks 2 and 3.

After staring at the bison for 15 minutes I walked down to a river that empties into the Mississippi. Hundreds of Canadian geese flew noisily overhead. I saw American Tree Swallows, blue jays, and juncos. That is water cress down there.
