| Today I was going to meet a friend for coffee at 2 p.m. I decided to walk the 1.6 miles to the coffee shop. Close to my hotel is the Le Duc Mansion. The mansion is closed for the season. They are having a tea on the weekends but the tea costs fifty bucks and I don't like tea that much. |

| The mansion has a big yard and a community garden. |

| This is the art center. The center opens at 3 so I went there after our coffee. Inside they offer musical classes and art classes. I got to play the harp which was fun. Next week they are offering a coffee session with a local writer but I have a doctor appointment that day so I can't go. My friend gave me good directions to the bison area so I will go there tomorrow. |

| We had a good talk, my friend and I. She was glad I reached out to her. I was glad too. She told me about her boys who are both in college now. She worries about them. That is what mothers do. We worry. |

| The art center is having a private event tomorrow. I wish I could go. |
