Purple Finch Demands

Today a purple finch ruckus interrupted my piano playing. Two young birds begged their father for sun flower seeds. They flew with him to the feeder. As he perched to pull out a sunflower seed they buffeted him with their wings on both sides. Don't they realize that they could perch and take out their own food? Do they think all their food must come from their father's mouth? As the father finch grabbed a sunflower seed and flew away, they both flew with him. They came back four times for seeds within 20 minutes.
