Tomorrow is May 15, the day my Grandpa said it is safe to plant. I plan to start planting this weekend with gold potatoes, blue potatoes, and walla walla onions. I saw the walla walla onions for sale and Home Depot and couldn't pass them by. I remembered a road trip to Oregon where we passed through a corner of Washington State coming out of Idaho and went through the town of Walla Walla, Washington. I remember acres and acres of onions.
