| I had another great afternoon at Hawk Ridge today. I'm very lucky with the weather there so far. This day differed from all my previous days this year. Today we had a bus load of fifth graders from elementary school a few miles east of here. |

| Fifth grade is a great age. Some people don't like the chaos and energy of fifth graders but I do. One of them said, "I saw that hawk poop!" I had to laugh out loud and so did others. |

| Seeing the world through the eyes of a child is a precious experience (unless it's not). |
